There is a lot of pressure to have success with your health
Pressure you self impose
Pressure from media
Pressure from peers
Pressure from family
But success to you is different than me and is different than your coworker and is different from your brother in law’s cousin’s podiatrist.
Who’s to say that you are being successful or not?
If you are single
live in an apartment
and are scraping by because you spend all your money on food, supplements, training
Then you had better be making gains on your fitness on a weekly basis or else
you are doing it wrong.
Now if you are a wife or husband, parent, employee, and keeping up a household
who says that you have to be losing 1.5 to 2 lbs per week till infinity?
It’s not realistic
You will have good stretches and bad
Shit comes up
Sick kids, travel, holidays, you get sick, death in the family, work deadlines, etc etc etc
But if you stay on the path
Keep moving in your journey to make progress
Then that is success, the only fail would be giving up on you and what you deserve
Maybe your month yields you 2lb weight loss is that success?
Hell yes!! Especially if that month was a shit show of drama.
Don’t let other people’s business influence how you feel about your progress.
It’s YOUR progress it’s YOUR success meter. All factors need to be taken into consideration.
AWARENESS PRECEDES CHANGE
CHANGE YOUR SUCCESS METER BASED ON WHAT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY
and what makes sense for you.
CHANGE YOUR MINDSET ON YOU
If you don’t LOVE YOU and who you are, then all the workouts, nutrition programs, articles, t.v. shows, etc
won’t make a damn bit of difference.
CHANGE THE MINDSET
CHANGE ONE HABIT AT A TIME
START CHANGING YOUR LIFE
Take our 8 week challenge member Julie as perfect example of making the change to put herself first which in turn allowed her to be better for herself and family.
