New Year New Year…Probably Not…Unless you do this

Alright, the feel good
Look back at last year one final time and kick it to the curb is over
1/1/18 the day of resolutions and optimism on how great things are going to be
1/2/18 the day of action is ON!
or
NOT
The new year is a great time to start fresh and everything does feel new
most get a few days off to enjoy themselves with friends and family.
Then back to reality
But is it the reality that you dreamed of on the 1st?
If you have spent anytime reading my emails in the past I am going to sound like a broken record for a moment
but
There is good reason
Because it is 100% TRUTH
“Hope is not a plan for change.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
read that again
Your “New You” is nothing but a dream if you don’t have a definitive plan of action.
And that definitive plan of action needs to come back to, as I have said before,
a morning routine of personal power.
You can not create change if your day starts in disarray
You can not create change if your day starts on a whim
You can not create change if your day starts with convenience
Your routine of personal power should take care of the following:
-body
-mind
In that order
Here is my routine
-drink 1 liter of water
-mobility
-pushups/core work/walk/something to elevate my heart rate 5-10mins
-read 5-10 mins
-meditate 5-10 mins
Get ready for work
Shorter Example:
-drink 1 liter of water
then
-read for 5-10 minutes of scripture (doesn’t have to be religion but shouldn’t be FB either)
You see the routine isn’t about a huge physical metamorphosis
It’s about setting up your body and mind for success
Putting your mind into a positive productive mindset that will carryover into the rest of your day.
Taking care of numero uno first
Which is a victory that you can always go back to at the end of the day
Your day could turn to shit but if you did just 2 things in the morning first thing
You can count that as a win
Try it for 2 weeks
Get your ass out of bed 10 mins earlier and drink water then read something that you wouldn’t normally read to improve yourself.
Then let me know what changes
But I will gaurantee you this
“IF NOTHING CHANGES, THEN NOTHING WILL CHANGE”
But only 100% of the time
Your New Year New YOU
Starts and Ends with YOU
It always has and always will
