ONE DAY

Happy Monday Everyone!
For those of you who celebrated Easter yesterday
How are you feeling today?
I had 2 firsts for Easter myself.
  1. both houses I went to had a Pasta dish
​​​​​​​  2. I did not eat any Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
But I didn’t get a sweat in
Didn’t drink enough water
Too many other sweets
Too many fatty foods
Leaving me with a choice today
Freak out
Get mad at myself
Let the negative self talk kick in
“I ruined all my progress”
“I gained xx lbs”
You know the guilt the regret that we put on ourselves
Everything that usually goes along with a post holiday food hangover
Sound familiar?
or
My other choice today can be this,
“Man I had a great time with my family yesterday! I got to have some foods that I don’t normally have and they were so good!”
And that’s it
I am not going to give it another thought
It was ONE DAY
It only becomes a problem if I continue yesterday into today then tomorrow or even further.
It’s ONE DAY
Give yourself a break
If most of the time you are doing what’s required to reach your goals then
MOVE ON
Drink some water today
Have a greens Drink
Break a sweat
Go about your business
But DON’T DO THIS
Starve yourself all day or under eat all week
Exercise Extra Hard to undue it all
Stress over yesterday
Beat yourself up over it
It’s April
It’s Monday
Do what you do on Monday’s
Because today is
ONE DAY
That needs to be attended too
